We’ll come to you, day or night, weekdays or weekends, anywhere in the UK
Training not available at this time
With regret, we are unable to offer our self-injury awareness training right now; we find ourselves overly popular and over-stretched.
We realise self-injury training is hard to come by around the UK, and we know it’s an important service of ours. We are sorry that we can’t help you right now. We’re very grateful to the many organisations that have invited us to deliver training over the years; we hope we’ve been of some help to you as you address self-harm, and we’ve learnt a lot from you in turn.
LifeSIGNS (Self-Injury Guidance & Network Support) is an online, user-led voluntary organisation, founded in 2002 to raise awareness about self-injury and provide information and support to people of all ages affected by self-injury. We recognise self-injury is a way of coping with distressing experiences and difficult emotions, and we encourage people to reflect on the issues behind their self-injury, and to develop and explore alternative coping mechanisms.
FirstSigns is managed and led by people with personal experience of self-injury, and we are non-judgemental, non-directional, and respectful of our members’ and visitors’ life experiences and perceptions. The LifeSIGNS website provides access to all of our services, including our newsletter, book and training – www.lifesigns.org.uk
