There’s Something About Alison
If you’ve joined the LifeSIGNS Message Board then your life has probably been touched by Alison.
Alison is my fellow Admin of the Board, and has the thankless task of welcoming every new member. As we are a popular self injury related message board, this is a never ending job that must keep her busy every day, so I want to thank Alison for her dedication to LifeSIGNS and people.
Alison is also good at diffusing tension; whenever I get wound up for any reason, Alison steps in and takes over for me, and becomes the bearer of bad news; she does it better than me, I enjoy bearing bad news too much to be sensitive! (joke)
So once again, thank you Alison for your commitment and sense of perspective.
Wedge

May 20, 2005I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Wedge and everyone who replied. :) The members of LifeSIGNS are absolutely amazing!! There have been times when I’ve had a rough day, but I come to the board and see that everyone is so supportive of each other. I’m glad to be a part of LifeSIGNS; a lot of times, it’s hard to find a place where you fee like you fit in, but for me, LifeSIGNS is that kind of place.
And plus, someone has to keep Wedge in line. (That was a joke)!
Thank you all again for your kind words!!

May 19, 2005Alison I will have to say too that you are an amazing person! I have gotten to know a lot about you and vice versa. You are always and I do mean always there for a good laugh (though neither of us can seem to not giggle when we talk) and you are always there when someone is having a bad day! You always seem to know the right words to make us feel better and laugh! My hats off to you Alison! I hope you see how much you are appreciated!

May 19, 2005Thank you for your care and support … you may not know how significant your “hello and welcome” is when people first post, BUT IT IS VITAL – for people to be accepted when they are in need, and to be helped, which is what you do … so THANK YOU
