Celebrity Self Injury
Tommorrow, you’re going to read that an actress has been ‘seen with scars’ on her wrist, with the arguement that she has ‘always covered her arms’ in the past. I don’t think it’s accurate to say that she’s ‘covered up’ in the past, and I don’t have any facts or even an opinion about her personal SI status.
I think we can let this story fade, and remember that all celebrities are just people at the end of the day, with highs and lows just like everybody else. If any ‘celebrities’ need support, they should be free to seek help and support, health and happiness without sensationalism. Of course, they’d be welcome to contact LifeSIGNS.
