Interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra

On Thursday I was interviewed by 1Xtra for a self-injury special feature they are producing which will be aired in April.

As always, it was great to be able to openly talk about self-injury and real experiences in a bid to raise awareness and remove the stigma sometimes attached to the perceptions of it. The show will focus on self-injury in people from a black or minority ethnic background, the distinct factors that could lead to triggers and special service needs, something which LifeSIGNS has already recognised and are working towards providing.
